Sai jai is a community based group that aims to give skilled elders and artisans a place to make, develop and sell their products together. All of the products here are handmade, resulting in unique pieces made from local sources! Some of the most interesting include: Bamboo crafts such as baskets and trays, ornamental weaving pieces, keychains, soaps, woven recyed bags and premium Na-oor cotton fabrics with exclusive patterns wrapping up this list. “Natural dye” 🌿
We've bet you've heard about how a wine stain on your clothes can't be washed off. Like-wise, natural dyes we use such as indigo, turmeric, sappanwood and java plum boast beautiful, long-lasting colors too.
Natural dye has been around for generations, and we are taking it to the next level, exploring/experimenting new color combinations and origins.
Natural dyes are better for you and the environment as they are biodegradable, nontoxic and non allergic.

“Natural textile from community” 🧵
Natural fibers, fabrics, papers or “textiles” are better for the environment as they are made from sustainable recourses like plants or animals such as cotton, silk, banana trees, torch ginger etc. Which are renewable, biodegradable and carbon neutral.

“Passing down community wisdom” 💕
If you grew up in Thailand, many of us would remember our grandmas spinning cotton, or weaving a new skirt.
We believe local wisdom, techniques and stories should be passed down and shared. Sai Jai aims to create a bond between traditional and modern fashion styles, lifestyle, and between the younger and older generation.
